There is exciting news for those of you who appreciate the short magnums and have wanted to add a medium bore to your Blaser barrel collection.  Blaser has added the new 325 Winchester Short Magnum to the line. The first barrels are about to hit the stores. In the US, contact Aleko Jensen at Heritage Arms (7045 S. State Street #9, Salt Lake City, UT 84047, 801-562-2486, ha1@xmission.com). These 325WSM barrels are magnum length, standard contour with sights. Aleko still has four available in his first shipment while I write this update. Additional barrels with out sights are also on order and expected soon.

The new 400H&H project is coming along, no specific delivery date as of yet, we are still hoping for later this year.  These barrels will also be standard contour with sights. Heritage Arms is planning on offering premium custom loaded 400H&H ammunition under its own label, which should be ready to ship when the barrels arrive. There should be a light bullet practice load and a couple of full power hunting loads.  They will all use the “.411” bullets.  I expect this will become the perfect dangerous game load for Africa and the big moose and bears of the upper hemisphere, not to mention the other species of buffalo around the world.

Blaser’s super hard metal finish is almost corrosion proof, allowing you to only perform minimal maintenance to keep your gun in perfect condition, despite the extremes of the environment, anywhere in the world.  This durability will only enhance the R93’s appeal to hunters in the wet and cold environments of the North Country.

If you’re the owner of an LRS2 rifle, contact your nearest Blaser dealer or importer for important recall information.

Several even more exciting new products are on the horizon, expect announcements here at BlaserPro as soon as we have the full details.
