Move of Company to San Antonio, Texas
Blaser USA is happy to announce exciting changes to its Management Team and the relocation of the company from Vista, California to San Antonio, Texas. “It is a great step forward for Blaser USA that Norbert Haussmann and Rich Kaysa are joining our team. I am certain this will enhance the level of professionalism in customer service that our quality products deserve”, says Bernhard Knoebel, Chairman of Blaser USA and Head of Blaser Germany.
Norbert Haussmann spent twenty years of his notable career transiting from roles as a gunsmith, to product development, to production management and sales with Krieghoff in Germany, before joining Krieghoff International in Pennsylvania. He then spent 12 years as an influential leader with Krieghoff International in the areas of new product development and the overall operations of the company.
Norbert eventually left Krieghoff International as Vice President when given the opportunity to assume the position of Partner and Co-owner of Alamo Sporting Arms in San Antonio, where he thrived in the retail-side of the industry.
Richard Kaysa joined Krieghoff International in 1994 where he was trained, by Norbert, in the skills of gunsmithing. After four years, Kaysa moved to San Antonio, Texas where he applied his industry skills and knowledge in starting his own business, Alamo Sporting Arms. Besides his passion for guns and hunting, Richard is also an accomplished trap shooter, as proven in his impressive win at the 100th Grand American Clay Target Championship in 1999. When approached with the opportunity to head Blaser USA, neither Haussmann nor Kaysa hesitated to accept the challenge. Through their leadership Blaser USA thrives to become one of the top names in the sporting arms industry.

The re-location of the Company to San Antonio is planned to take place in no longer than four weeks from now.
